Dr. Burman and Ms. Herrington are currently only accepting Aetna and Blue Cross/Blue Shield (Highmark) insurances. This includes out of state (PA) BCBS plans as well as the Federal Plan. Please call your insurance company to check your benefits to see how much you would pay per session. Sometimes you have to pay your co-pay and other times you need to meet a deductible before your co-pay kicks in.

If you do not have either of these insurances, you can call your insurance company about your out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits. Dr. Burman is happy to give you a Superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Some plans will reimburse you for part of the cost for the session.

*Please note that Ms. Herrington’s sessions cannot be submitted for out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits and she cannot provide Superbills.

**Please note that Personal Choice, Independence Blue Cross, Independent Administrators, and Keystone Health Plan East are NOT plans accepted at this practice.
